Every candidate deployed by Rumi completes these six mandatory milestones prior to boarding their flight.

1. Employment Contract Review

Verify that salary, working hours, accommodation, duty meals, and leave entitlements match the original offer before signing.

2. Medical Fitness Certificate

Complete comprehensive health screening at an approved national referral hospital in Bhutan.

3. Police Clearance Certificate

Obtain an official Security Clearance Certificate from Royal Bhutan Police confirming clean legal background.

4. Passport & Visa Verification

Ensure passport has at least 24 months validity and employment entry permit/e-visa is officially authenticated.

5. Mandatory Rumi Pre-Departure Briefing

Attend in-person seminar in Thimphu covering destination labor laws, workplace conduct, cultural customs, and embassy helpline.

6. Travel Logistics & Contact Dossier

Receive confirmed flight itinerary, airport pickup contacts in the host country, and emergency contact numbers.
